(1) Two "best friends" realized they were very much in love. No one who had watched Al Ponti and Catherine Swaggerty together was surprised when they announced their engagement. We wish them the very, very best. They certainly deserve it!(2) As many of you already know, our OCWCSDC Home, The Clubhouse, was bought s short time ago by Tom and Socci Hyatt which, to us, is very good news, indeed. They like our Club, are friends of Jumpin' Jack, and definitely know how to run a dance studio. They've had a very successful one in Riverside for years. The name of the studio has been changed to "Top Cats" and Tom & Socci are already in the process of improving the inside, including the air conditioning. The new owners are taking over Sept. 1st, but the official Grand Opening party is on Saturday, October 2nd. Our Club Sundays will remain unchanged except for a more attractive and comfortable interior and better air conditioning and the sign in front will asy "Top Cats".
