We have two special contests coming up, neither of which requires membership to enter.
1) On Sunday, March 28th we have an Open Jackpot Jack & Jill for those who are not going to Reno.
2) On Sunday, April 4th we have a "Mixed level Strictly Swing Contest": Advanced & above must dance with Intermediate or Novice; Intermediate can dance up or down. Novice can dance with Intermediate or above. You pick your own partner, but no partnership can be at the same level and no teacher/student, past or present can partner. The $5 per person entry fee for each contest will be matched by Jack Smith and all monies will be awarded as prizes when the winners are announced. Check our club web site for the rules:

We hope to start a "Members' Birthdays" section next month. It would be nice if we had the birthdays of more members. Plese email yours; only the month and date, NOT the year, to: jumpinjack@ocwcsdc.com.
I have had some requests for a "Letters ot the Editor" section. I would truly like to receive email from members having to do with our club, Conventions, or WCS dancing in general; especially if it hasn't already been discussed to death on rec.arts.dance.
