Congratulations to all of our members who competed, placed or won at the Fresnowe had a great showing of club members, you all Rocked!!! June 22nd, 2008 John Tripp Progressive Jack and Jill Novice and Advanced (4th Sunday because of Jack and Jill O'Rama) Tonight we hold our monthly progressive Jack and Jill!! Don't miss your chance at making the finals in December, dance in all of the Progressive contests for a greater chance. Tonight we Continue our "NEW PROGRESSIVE JACK AND JILL SCHEDULE" on the 1st and 3rd Sunday's. Novice - 7:45pm and Advanced - 8:15pm Don't Miss It!!! We are going to try to have the last Sunday of the month "NO CONTEST NIGHT" so make sure to tell your friends who don't like contests, if they want a night with no contests come out tonight! Congratulations Club Members Cassie and Mike (or Mikey as some of us know him) Eads on the birth of their Baby Boy born June 24th, 2008 at 8:28pm, weighing 8lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long!! Congatulations to you both and welcome Baby Austin Riley Eads to the Club!! Club Member Lauren Adams and Chris Conklin are engaged! Congratulations to you both!! HOT OFF THE PRESSES!! Learn To Dance West Coast Swing West Coast Swing Classes Every Sunday!! Every Sunday we will offer Beginning and Intermediate WCS lessons taught each week by a different one of our OCWCSDC Instructors (see calender for instructors). Classes will be approximately 45 minutes long. Beginning Class will stress basics of WCS. The Intermediate Class will expand on those basics with extended and upper level patterns and syncopations. Intermediate Dancers are encouraged to stay for beginning class to help the Beginners and make them feel comfortable. Check our Calendar for the Weekly Instructor. Class times are as follows: 6pm - 6:45pm - Intermediate WCS 6:45 - 7:30pm - Beginning WCS Open Dancing to follow New Master's Progressive Contest and Schedule!! Starting in June we will add a Progressive Master's Jack and Jill. This addition will require us to split up the Progressive contests. The New Progressive Contest Schedule is as follows: The 1st Sunday (check calendar) of each month will be: New Masters Progressive (8:15pm) Intermediate Progressive (7:45pm) The 3rd Sunday (check calendar) of each month will be: Novice Progressive (7:45) Advanced Progressive (8:15pm) Shazam Cruise 2009 April 19th - 26th 7 days and nights through the Western Caribbean with Ronnie and Brandi Jordan and Tatiana Kyle and Sarah Parker and Jess Arjay and Melissa and Jumpin' Jack This Cruise will sell out, don't miss out, |
